How can I permanently delete files?

Files that are added to the trash remain in the trash for 30 days. You can permanently delete the files in the trash in two methods:

 

Method 1:

  1. While in the trash, locate the file for permanent deletion and long press on it (orange icon with check mark appears over thumbnail)
  2. Locate the trash icon on the top right of the screen
  3. Press the trash icon
  4. The file is permanently deleted

 

Method 2:

  1. While in the trash, locate the file for permanent deletion press the three vertical dots on the right side of the file
  2. A menu opens with multiple options; one of them is “delete permanently”
  3. Press the “delete permanently”
  4. A confirmation pop up shows; press “delete”
  5. The file is permanently deleted
