How do I set up my Vault?

Vault is a fully encrypted and PIN-protected folder that allows you to safely store your files.

 

To set up a Vault:

  1. Tap the “Vault” tile on the “Home” screen
  2. Choose a PIN to protect your Vault
  3. Re-enter your PIN to confirm

 

Important: Please make sure to remember your PIN or store it in a safe place. In case you lose your PIN, the Vault needs to be reset and all files will be deleted.

 

Optionally you can enable biometrics for easier access to your Vault. To do so, enable biometrics in “Settings”:

  1. Tap on “Settings” in the banner at the top of the Vault screen
    1. Toggle “Use biometrics to unlock Vault” ON
    2. Follow on-screen instructions to enable biometrics
    3. Go to “Home” and tap “Vault”
    4. Use your biometrics to unlock Vault when prompted 
  2. At the top right on “Home”, tap on the “cog wheel” icon to go to Settings
    1. Tap on “Settings” in the banner at the top of the Vault screen
    2. Toggle “Use biometrics to unlock Vault” ON
    3. Follow on-screen instructions to enable biometrics
    4. Go to “Home” and tap “Vault”
    5. Use your biometrics to unlock Vault when prompted
